What we offer?

The Turramurra Gurudwara located on the North Shore in Sydney, serves the Sikh Community of Sydney. Regular Diwans (religious congregations) are held every Saturday evening and Sunday day time - in addition to other weekly Diwans. All are welcome -as long as they observe certain guidelines like, covering their head, entering without shoes on and abstain from any kind of intoxication (e.g., drinking or smoking) within and around the Gurudwara premises.

Free Guru ka Langar - vegetarian food - is served after the main weekend Diwans as also on some other weekday Diwans.

Details of the Diwans/Kirtans are included in the tab '[Kirtan schedules](http://turramurragurudwara.com.au/kirtan-schedules.html)'

e of the essential doctrines of Sikh religion and a practice followed in most of the Gurudwaras for over 500 years, is 'Guru Ka Langar', or free vegetarian food, generally cooked in the Gurudwara kitchen itself, by the devoted Sangat and the Host families.

While there are some essential basic costs involved with each Langar - like, Gas, Electricity & Kitchen Support Person's wage - for most Kirtans, there is absolutely_ no mandatory contribution_ required for any Langar for which the Host Family is supplying the Langar Samagari (Groceries etc) and undertaking the cooking responsibilities. However any contribution towards this utilities and related expense - is always welcome.

For indicative and suggested cost contributions -specifically for 'Akhand Path and Sahaj Path' Sewas (Services), which require payments to the Granthis doing the path - please click here to download and view the '[Donation Details](http://turramurragurudwara.com.au/uploads/3/4/9/4/34942822/langar_sewa_costs_v1.21_blank_website.pdf)' here.
